KOLKATA, India – Nov. 5, 2026 – PRLog — Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) plays an important role in cellular energy production and antioxidant defence. One of the study’s key findings was an encapsulation efficiency of 81.51%, indicating effective entrapment of CoQ10 within the liposomal structure. Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) analysis recorded an average particle size of 150.2 nm, with a zeta potential of -37.21 mV. These characteristics support the formulation’s colloidal stability and uniform particle distribution.
The stability results offer another important highlight. During accelerated stability testing at 40°C ± 2°C and 75% ± 5% relative humidity, the encapsulation efficiency remained above 81% over six months. Furthermore, thermal testing at 105°C for four hours showed that encapsulation efficiency remained at 81.65%, demonstrating the formulation’s resilience under the tested conditions.
Advanced analytical techniques, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Dynamic Light Scattering,
Scanning Electron Microscopy and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), provided further insights into the formulation’s composition, particle characteristics and structural integrity. SEM imaging also revealed smooth, spherical liposomal vesicles.
