ODENSE, DenmarkAug. 6, 2024PRLog — VW has made it easy for you to go all-in on electric behaviour in your ID.Buzz. When you need extra power for coffee or your compressor, the LPS is the fast and easy solution. VW has certified that the LPS II can be recharged at the same time as the ID.Buzz. No need for an extra 230V plug.

The power you need with ease
The Clayton Power LPS II gives you easy access to electricity at work or when you are on holiday. The LPS provides both 230V and 12V. You can plug in your refrigerator, recharge your computer, make coffee or recharge your battery tools. As the LPS II only weighs 27 kg, it is easy to find room for it in the ID.Buzz. The ID.Buzz and the LPS II is a perfect match with a lot of advantages:

+ Powers your 12V and 230V appliances at the same time
+ Compact all-in-one power system
+ Volkswagen-certified installation
+ Charge your LPS II power supply from the ID. Buzz
+ Charge your LPS II from solar panels
+ No fuel. No emissions. No noise

Charging from the ID. Buzz and solar panels on the roof
The LPS II is recharged directly from the ID.Buzz and flexible solar panels can supply energy to the LPS II battery system even on a cloudy day. The LPS can be recharged with up to 400W per hour from the solar panels. The LPS II recharges fast both from the solar panels and from the vehicle. This combination ensures a consistent recharge. It is important to note, that the LPS does not discharge the vehicle’s battery when the ID.Buzz is turned off but will still power your appliances.

Capacity extension for the LPS ensures all future needs
The Clayton Power G4 battery range offers the LPS II customers more flexibility. If the need should arise, the LPS II can easily be upgraded with one or multiple G4 batteries increasing the capacity of the LPS II. The battery is connected to the LPS with a simple communication cable and a DC-DC converter to transfer energy between the battery and the LPS.

Volkswagen-certified installation
VW has certified that the LPS II can be recharged when you recharge your ID.Buzz. It simplifies the use of extra power, as you do not need an additional 230V plug in your vehicle for charging the LPS. When you follow the installation guidelines, the warranty is of course still valid.
