Deadline Approaching for the 2023 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge Application

DENVERAug. 8, 2023PRLog — The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) is accepting applications for the 10th annual Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge, a market-driven innovation showcase that will be held in person in Denver, CO on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

CCIA is hosting the Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge in partnership with international oil and gas industry leaders. The program provides targeted connections between our industry sponsors and clean technology solution providers with the common goal of meeting industry’s needs while introducing innovative cleantech solutions to the marketplace.

CCIA partners for this program include bpx energy, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Ovintiv, Altira, Consulate General of Canada, Holland & Hart, Holzer Patel Drennan, The Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade and The Colorado Energy Office. Companies selected for participation in the program will have the opportunity to present directly to these industry leaders.

“CCIA is pleased to present the 2023 Oil and Gas Cleantech Challenge which connects clean technology solution providers to the world’s top energy companies,” said CCIA executive director Mary Austin. “In this dynamic time for the energy industry, we are excited to see great support from oil and gas producers as they aim to address sector challenges by supporting cleantech and innovation.”

The application is open for cleantech companies to showcase their innovative products and technologies. The application deadline is August 17 at 5pm (MDT).

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Air especially methane, ethane, VOC and criteria pollutant detection, quantification or control
  • Carbon capture, utilization and storage
  • Digital Oilfield
  • Energy storage
  • Geothermal
  • Water
  • Items to reduce truck traffic
  • Space saving items to reduce footprint
  • Methane pyrolysis
  • Power management
  • Plant or biological solutions
  • Advanced materials and chemicals
  • Solid pollution reduction
  • Hydrogen and hydrogen infrastructure
  • Low pressure/low flow maintenance

Interested cleantech companies will enter a competitive vetting process, after which approximately 10-12 companies will be invited to present their technologies to the oil and gas partners.
